This is revealed in the recently published report Miljöledning i staten 2015.

Context

With 22 out of a maximum 23 points, the University of Gothenburg is awarded the highest score in the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency’s latest assessment of environmental management work in Swedish public authorities. The County Administrative Board of Kronoberg, the Swedish Museum of Natural History and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences come in second with 21 points each. Environment certification, staff training, renewable energy requirements and reduced energy consumption are some of the criteria on which the assessment was based.

The ranking shows that the 40 public authorities that are environmentally certified generally receive high scores. The report also shows that the public authorities included in the assessment have reduced their energy consumption in the past year. The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency concludes that the authorities’ systematic environmental management work was developed and improved in 2015.
