Founded in 1883, Auckland is New Zealand’s largest university with over 40,000 students spread over five Auckland campuses, and a total of eight faculties, including a law school, as well as three research institutes associated with the university.

Today, the university is considered as the best of the country, with over 19 % of international students. Indeed, the university of Auckland is the highest ranked New Zealand university in the main world university rankings. It is also the first university in New Zealand for Graduate Employability, the most entrepreneurial university in the Asia-Pacific and the most innovative university in New Zealand.

On top of that, the university of Auckland is very active and engaged in matters of the Sustainable Development. It is ranked #1 in Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings and undertakes lots of actions in this area.
