The idea of setting up a working group of Universities, Ethics and Environment Dissemination was born after the death of Mirco Federici, a young employee of the University, whose daily behavior was based on the respect of the environment and solidarity. Since 2009 a spontaneous working group, Unidea, integrated by administrative staff members, professors and researchers, was established, to promote initiatives towards a Green campus.
The group intends to honor his memory by promoting, developing and collaborating on educational projects for sustainable development, but especially with concrete interventions in university facilities.
Saving energy, water, paper, etc..
Sustainable mobility for students and staff
Recycling and reuse of materials (computer, glass, etc.)
Some of the proposals of the group on water supply, waste minimization, paper use minimization, recycling and reuse were approved by the University board of administration on April 14th, 2011.
The group is open to all the people who revolve in the world by the staff of the university services to students.
