HTW Sustainability Certificate

Sustainability is a key topic at the University of Applied Science (HTW) Berlin. Recently, the institution launched a certificate for students which is based out of:

• Introductory lecture on sustainability topics with experts at the beginning of the semester
• Teaching module or curricular element with strong sustainability focus
• Involvement in a social or environmentally orientated project or initiative on campus for at least one semester
• Engagement in a relevant community project or association linked to sustainability in society for at least one semester

Next to the introductory lecture, 2 out of 3 elements of the above need to be completed successfully for the student to receive a certificate.
