School of Biology - University of Costa Rica

The School of Biology at the University of Costa Rica aims to generate, transmit and disseminate knowledge in biological sciences through teaching, research and social action and to train professionals with high scientific capacity and ethical responsibility, who contribute to the integral development of the country and the region.

Its vision is to be a School recognized nationally and internationally, for producing scientific literature and training professionals in biological sciences capable of researching, teaching, innovating and managing biological knowledge, with scientific and political impact, based on ethical and humanistic principles that facilitate analysis and solving multidisciplinary environmental problems.
