UFU Research in the Araguari River Basin

Starting in 2025, the Federal University of Uberlândia will begin a series of surveys for the diagnosis and analysis of the Araguari River of the Triangulo Mineiro region. The project was requested through a National Public Call of the Araguari River Basin Committee. 

The project will run for two years and consists of three subprojects. The first will be to evaluate the erosive susceptibility of soils in a watershed. The second will evaluate the support capacity of the hydrographic basin. The last will be the development of precision tools to analyse collected water.
