King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) is a science and technology university in Thailand, focusing on teaching and research and it is one of nine national research universities (NRU) in Thailand. As KMUTT was founded as a research university serving as both educational park and industrial park, KMUTT currently produces qualified graduates and skillful human resources with strong quality and morality ground. The university actively involves in research and development as well as provides quality academic services contributing to enhancement of economy and quality of life.

Sustainable Development
KMUTT recognizes the importance of sustainable development and has established policies and programs which promote students and staff to work with communities and friends at local and global level. Sustainable development is supervised by the Sustainability Steering Board which reports to the University Executive Board. KMUTT was certified as 1 of 77 “Climate Action Leading Organizations” and the first academic institute to be certified from Thailand Carbon Neutral Network Committee. In this regard, the “Climate Action Leading Organizations” are those who demonstrate the leadership capacity in managing and are responsible for greenhouse gas emissions of the organization through their intention to reduce the greenhouse gas emission in order to go forward to a Neutral Carbon at organizational level with the explicit target year and operational plan that are in consistent with the science principles and the targets of Paris Agreement. In addition, KMUTT has been certified Carbon Footprint of organizations and other related standards from the Climate Action Organizations (public organization) or equivalent international standards.
