Established in 1991, the Technological University of Aguascalientes is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Aguascalientes (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Universidad Tecnológica de Aguascalientes is a coeducational Mexican higher education institution. Universidad Tecnológica de Aguascalientes offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees in several areas of study. Internationalization 

The objective of the Department of Internationalization at the Technological University of Aguascaliente is to establish links and bilateral cooperation with foreign institutions with the effect of promoting student and teacher mobility as well as the creation of collaborative networks in academic, training and research matters. Some programs within the Department of Internationalization include international mobility programs, programs in Mexico for international students, and professional and Technological License study program in France.
