Turkmen Agricultural University is one of the youngest instituions of higher education in the country. The university primary focuses on providing education and professional training in agricultural domains.

Sustainability & Sustainable Development

In line with the university's agriculture-centered educational and research mission, the university has played advisory and technical roles in several international projects at the intersection of agriculture and sustainable development. One project, coordinated by the United Nations Development Program, studied the conservation and sustainable management of land resources in the Aral Sea basin. Another project focused on supporting climate-resilient livelihoods in agricultural communities in drought-prone areas of the country.
