Canadian University Dubai (CUD) opened its doors in 2006 to bring the world-class Canadian education system to the dynamic city of Dubai. As a pioneering initiative, CUD was created to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to UAE society.

Sustainability
CUD takes part in different sustainability projects with some examples being that of Sustainability Day, Sustainability Forums, Conferences on biodiversity and climate change, Sustainability lessons, Partnerships and also a brand new Innovation and Sustainability Center with a raft of projects that aim to promote innovative approaches to sustainable economic growth. The new initiatives will support the university’s ambition to lead the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through higher education in the region.
