Sustainability at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut
Since education plays a fundamental role in changing conceptions, attitudes and behaviors, the Diane Foundation of the Chair of Eco-citizenship and Sustainable Development (CEECDD) at Saint Joseph University aims to improve knowledge of socio-ecological issues and to rethink development models to build harmony between citizens and nature. By putting the human question at the heart of development processes and by re-examining the values, representations, activities, practices and behaviors of each person towards sustainable and equitable development, the Chair aims to push every citizen to integrate eco-citizenship and sustainable development issues into their decisions, values and attitudes, and to embody, through its practices, the best world in which the people would like to live for themselves and future generations.
