The University of Lapland, established in 1979 in Rovaniemi, is the northernmost university in the European Union, dedicated to research and education that address Arctic and global challenges. With around 4,000 students and 600 staff, it offers programs across the faculties of Education, Law, Social Sciences, and Art and Design.
