About
Avicenna International Medical University is registered with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and has a license for higher professional education. The higher education institution is designed to train qualified specialists in the medical field both for the Kyrgyz Republic and for other countries of the world, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Nigeria, the United States, Turkey, Egypt, and many others.
The faculty includes qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers with academic, clinical and research expertise. This university has been established with a view to providing quality education and research opportunities to teachers as well as students. Being an institution equipped with enough facilities and intended to be the best one of its kind, AIMU aims at excellence, integrity, transparency, and accountability.
In this age of globalization, AIMU has also decided to make the research work obligatory for both the teachers and students alike. Seminars and workshops are integral to university's curriculum. Events are arranged on a weekly and regular basis, with participants including students, teachers and sometimes scholars from both within the country and abroad.
