Sustainability
JCU's commitment to sustainability is embedded throughout JCU's leadership and governance structures. Sustainability is identified as a priority in the University Plan and is a cornerstone of JCU's Strategic Intent: "Committed to the principles of sustainability, we will ensure that our actions today do not limit the range of social, cultural, environmental and economic options open to future generations."
JCU also has a Sustainability Advisory Committee whose purpose is to provide leadership and make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor on sustainability at all University site.
