Cultivating a Greener Community

In June 2024, REVA University celebrated World Environment Month with a series of initiatives highlighting its long-term commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Through tree planting drives, cycling events, organic farming, and waste management programs, the university strengthened its green campus model and community engagement. Activities such as the Vanamahotsava tree drive, World Bicycle Day eco-ride, and the REVA FRESH organic produce initiative showcased how sustainability is woven into campus life.

REVA’s Platinum LEED-certified buildings, expansive green spaces, and ongoing research in renewable energy, biodegradable materials, and biodiversity conservation reflect its vision of sustainability as a way of life. The celebration emphasized shared responsibility and inspired students, staff, and the wider community to adopt sustainable practices and contribute to a greener future.
