Presentation on the SDG Targets and Indicators Linked to Responsible Consumption and Production

Organised by the RCE Saskachewan in collaboration with the United Nations Association Canada at the University of Regina and Luther College, on March 19, 2025, Dr. Adam Sneyd, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Guelph, will lead an engaging discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on Responsible Consumption and Production.

Dr. Sneyd, author of Hidden Politics in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Fernwood Publishing, 2024), will explore the hidden dynamics shaping global sustainability efforts. This event marks the 10-year anniversary of the UN Statistical Commission's technical report on the SDG initiative’s indicator framework — a milestone showing the ongoing importance of the SDGs in shaping our future.
