Research and Innovation at the University of Coimbra

A true research university leads the way in producing knowledge with the greatest impact on society and is internationally recognized for that fact. It is at this level that the University of Coimbra intends to position itself, which is why it invests heavily, but in a judicious manner, in the creation of conditions that allow the achievement of a level of knowledge production with a high impact on society, aiming to respond to societal challenges. In this context, there was an assessment of the contributions  of the research & innovation projects and the research activities developed at the UC R&D units to the Sustainable Development Goals.
