Mindfulness Practices for Students in Society
Mindfulness Practices for Students in Society (MP4s) is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education project, active from November 2021 to October 2024. The project was enacted due to an increase in the past decade in student mental health problems, compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic.
MP4s aims to address this issue by empowering students to deal with challenges in a reflective manner, and to help them manage emotions on various topics. The project does so through mindfulness practices and training, encouraging students to have compassion for themselves, others, and the planet. It will develop and provide an open-access set of resources for students and academic staff, support the integration of aforementioned practices and training into courses, and support the overall well-being of students.
