Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, established in 1950, is one of Turkmenistan’s longstanding higher education institutions for teacher preparation. Located in Turkmenabat, the institute’s mission is to train highly qualified teachers and educators for the national education system. It serves around 5,805 students and has 316 teaching staff across eight faculties, including exact sciences, natural sciences, history, pedagogy, Turkmen language and literature, Russian and Oriental languages, Romano-Germanic languages, and professional development. Its research strengths include pedagogy, educational methods, mathematics, history, Turkmen literature, comparative linguistics, and environmental education for sustainable development.
