Paris Climate & Nature Week: A New European Forum for Ecological Transition

Paris Climate & Nature Week has been launched as a major European gathering dedicated to ecological transition. Taking place ten years after the Paris Agreement and just ahead of COP30 in Belém, the event provides a crucial opportunity to reflect on a decade of climate action. It aims to examine the roles of public and private governance at all levels, address persistent barriers, and chart pathways to accelerate transformation.
The inaugural edition will be opened by Teresa Ribera, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for a clean, fair, and competitive transition. Other high-profile participants include Laurent Fabius, President of COP21, Laurence Tubiana, Dean of the Paris Climate School, and Agnès Pannier-Runacher, France’s Minister of Ecological Transition.
Over three days, with more than 60 events, Sciences Po will bring together political leaders, business executives, NGOs, international universities, and leading researchers. The central goal: to mobilize collective expertise and leadership in order to speed up ecological transition across societies.
📍 Venue: Sciences Po, Paris
🗓️ Date: 27, 28 and 29 October
