Sixth Global Climate and SDG Synergies Conference Unleashing Synergies Towards an Equitable, Climate-Resilient, and Sustainable Future

27 May 2025 – 28 May 2025
In-person

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Sixth Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a key platform to accelerate integrated climate and sustainable development action. Co-convened by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat, and hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, the conference will bring together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to drive transformative solutions for a more sustainable future.

WHY THIS MATTERS
The world is facing interconnected crises—climate change, inequality, biodiversity loss, and financial instability—that demand bold, coordinated action. Over 80% of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are directly linked to climate action, yet fragmented approaches often limit progress. This conference aims to break silos and unlock synergies that maximize impact, optimize resources, and ensure no one is left behind.
