About
The Autonomous University of Guadalajara, or UAG, is defined as a higher institution of culture, education and science, at the service of humanity and in particular of the Mexican community, inspired by the dignity of the human person, in respectful relationships between human beings and in the fulfillment of social justice. It supports the principles of academic freedom, teaching and research, and university autonomy.
Our more than 140 thousand graduates of different nationalities and those who work successfully in various parts of the world, are the institution's greatest satisfaction and the greatest testimony of the quality that distinguishes UAG.
Sustainability at UAG
Sustainable Innovation, Innovación Sostenible, is a key part of UAG's activities and instruction. UAG seeks to have a positive impact on the environment through alternatives that generate a change in current dynamics and allow a sustainable future to be visualized; that is, without compromising the financial, environmental and social environment. This is done through the encouragement of sustainability, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and progress, all of which are essential pieces of the UAG education.
