Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment
The Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment is an alternative name to The Institute of Land, Water and Environment which was established at the beginning of the year 1999. The objective of having such a faculty was to strengthen the involvement of the Hashemite University in the environmental issues of special interest to the country as a whole and the local community in particular.
As an academic body, the faculty aims at undertaking research and studies on various environmental problems and suggests relevant solutions to such problems.
This will help in developing and conserving natural resources, as well as enhancing the level of the university contribution to local environmental problems such as degradation of arid lands, waste water treatment, and management and air pollution control.
FBRE also aims to share with the public and private related sectors in exploring natural resources and sustaining it for the coming generation
