York University launches its 2026-30 University Academic Plan

York University has launched its new 2026–2030 University Academic Plan (UAP), outlining six guiding principles for teaching, learning, research and community engagement.

The plan emphasizes forward-looking education, research for the public good, partnerships, student success, global connections and inclusive communities. It also reaffirms York's commitment to advancing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education, research and institutional action. Members of the York community are invited to participate in campus engagement sessions and help bring the plan to life.
