Education and Academia Stakeholder Position Paper ahead of the UN HLPF 2025

The Education & Academia Stakeholder Group (EASG) is pleased to present this year’s Sectoral Paper. It was produced through consultation with the EASG member organisations, including the IAU, and submitted to the UN in time for this year’s High-Level Political Forum. In the paper, EASG calls on governments and international bodies to center education in global responses to today’s intersecting crises. Education is a human right and a powerful tool to achieve the 2030 Agenda. The paper links SDG 4 to this year’s High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) thematic SDGs: 3 (Health), 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work), 14 (Life Below Water), and 17 (Partnerships).
