ESDU - ESD in Catalan Universities

Since 2013-14 the project promotes actions to incidence in the training of students, to improve the teaching quality and teaching innovation, and to foster, through participatory processes, the design and implementation of ways of integrating ESD into the curriculum at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and other Catalan public universities.

The second phase of this project aims at giving continuity to many of the actions carried out during the last two years as well as incorporating new ones in order to expand the project in the framework of the new international context set by the Sustainable Development Goals. It wishes to enhance the role of universities in generating critical knowledge and in the training of active and committed citizens in situations of injustice both at local and global level.

The project is supported by the Barcelona City Council.
