Presentation of the first PUCP Environmental Sustainability Report

On November 6, 2023 the First Environmental Sustainability Report of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, or PUCP, was presented , within the framework of the PUCP Sustainable Campus institutional strategy and as an expression of the university's commitment to compliance with the 2030 Agenda. This document details the achievements and significant advances that the PUCP has achieved in terms of environmental sustainability; Likewise, it provides information that will improve decision-making and develop strategies conducive to contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event was attended by Domingo Gonzáles, administrative vice-rector of the PUCP; Silvana Vargas, director of the Academic Directorate of Social Responsibility (DARS); and representatives of various units of the university who contributed to the preparation of the report and demonstrate a permanent commitment to the different aspects of sustainability at the university. The presentation included the progress of the PUCP in terms of training, research, University Social Responsibility (RSU) and campus management. After the presentation, the representatives of the academic and administrative units commented on the opportunities for articulation in order to identify opportunities for improvement in the report.
