Development of Small Private Online Courses to train professors in egalitarian pedagogy based on the SDG 5
The Open2Sustain is an educational open project for the European and Mediterranean sustainable development.
Benefiting from funding from the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, it is a consortium made up of seven French-speaking university partners (France, Egypt, Algeria, Portugal, Morocco and Tunisia) including the Alexandria University, in addition to the AUF and the Institut de la Francophonie pour l'Education et la Formation.
The SPOC (Small Private Online Cources) eGender, which is part of the Open2Sustain aims to develop the skills of university teachers in order to better integrate the gender dimension into their teaching practices. Consisting of four modules (Gender and Digital Education, Egalitarian Pedagogy, Gender and Artificial Intelligence, Project), the first session of the SPOC was attended by 134 people and made it possible to bring out very interesting concrete proposals in order to improve the consideration of gender aspects in teaching. A second session will soon be organized in 2023.
