ACD-UN Leadership Action Camp 2025
The ACD-UN Leadership Action Camp 2025, hosted at Siam University from June 4–6, 2025, brought together 62 students from 12 countries for a youth-driven program focused on SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Organized in partnership with the Asia Cooperation Dialogue University Network (ACD-UN) and the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), the camp aimed to strengthen international collaboration and empower young leaders.
Participants were divided into eight multicultural teams, each supported by mentors. Over three days, they developed conceptual action plans using a “living lab” model, addressing real urban challenges through themes of sustainable development, global citizenship, and interregional cooperation.
The camp coincided with broader ACD initiatives and served as a youth pre-event to the 23rd ACD Summit. Supported by Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delegates engaged in activities including visits to the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), UNESCAP, SDG-focused exhibitions, and an urban regeneration site in Bangkok. Expert lectures and field experiences helped inform their final team presentations delivered on June 6.
