Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were unanomiously adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in September 2015. The Global Agenda and the Global Goals are "a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom." (UN, 2015).
Seventeen goals were selected, ranging from No Poverty, Zero Hunger, and Climate Action, to Gender Equality, Quality Education, and Peace, Justice and Strong Instituion. A special focus is given in the SDGs towards partnerships. Agenda 2030 is a Development Agenda for all countries and for all humans.
