Amrita Center for Environmental Studies

The Centre was established in the year 1999 at the Main Campus of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at Ettimadai. The Centre realized the responsibility to protect the biodiversity and natural resources especially because the Centre is nestled in the Western Ghats ecosystem and to practice and spread the message of protection of all types of natural resources for posterity.
