Presentation
LUCSUS is a platform for education, research and cooperation inside and outside academia on questions related to sustainable development.
Main Activities
The education consists primarily of our international master's program, LUMES (Lund University Masters Programme in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science).
Research is conducted often in international cooperation for example under the EU framework programmes. Since 2008 we coordinate the Linnaeus program LUCID (Lund University Centre of Excellence for Integration of Social and Natural Dimensions of Sustainability.)
Innovative Aspects
LUCSUS has a strong international research profile through our involvement in the new Earth System Governance core research project under IHDP and by the appointment to become a Right Livelihood College.
