"A Healthy Environment, A Healthy Community'' Campaign

Kardan University, in collaboration with Kabul Municipality, organized an environmental protection campaign under the slogan “A Healthy Environment, A Healthy Community” in Kabul’s fourth district. Over 60 faculty, students, and municipal cleaning staff participated.

The campaign aimed to raise public awareness about environmental protection, foster a culture of cleanliness, and encourage social responsibility among youth and community members. It began with speeches from both organizations, followed by a collective cleanup effort. Municipal officials praised the collaboration as a model partnership between educational institutions and government bodies.

Representatives from Kardan University emphasized that this initiative is the first in a series of planned awareness and practical activities focused on environmental protection. Participants, including Professor Sarwar Hashemi and volunteer Mohammad Idris Mohammadi, highlighted the campaign’s role in inspiring citizens, promoting public participation, and instilling values of urban responsibility and social solidarity.

As a leading institution in Afghanistan, Kardan University reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility and ongoing efforts to promote environmental protection.
