The Higher Education Learning Community for Inclusion project
The Higher Education Learning Community for Inclusion project, funded by the Erasmus+ KA2-Cooperation Partnerships programme, promote the principles of non-discrimination and common European values in higher education, strengthen links between universities in different countries, and develop inclusive and innovative content to combat xenophobia, racism and other forms of intolerance that Europe faces.
The project seeks to:
-
Establish a European-level Higher Education Learning Community on Inclusion (HELCI), which brings together all university services and research groups interested in the topic, to discuss and develop content that provides diversity management skills for both administrative and teaching staff.
-
Develop, validate and share innovative content through 4 MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) for faculty, researchers and administrators, as well as for Masters and PhD students, on the topics of non-discrimination, cultural, emotional and sexual diversity and gender identity. The participation of the whole university community in the creation of content with a high external impact on society will be encouraged.
-
Develop a guide and action plan on “European Universities for Inclusion and Non-Discrimination” to disseminate experiences, transfer the model and MOOCs and set out a roadmap for integrating university content related to European values into the European learning network.
