KIIT signs a Memorandum of Understanding with UNSSC
In September 2024, the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) at its headquarters in Turin, Italy.
UNSSC was launched in 2002 as the UN body that responds to learning, training, and knowledge management needs of UN staff and relevant partners. UNSSC also partners with academic institutions to create, adapt, or renew training programmes and tools at the academic institution(s).
This marks the beginning of a significant partnership to advance global education and sustainable development goals. As part of this collaboration, KIIT will host the Nelson Mandela Regional Hub, joining a prestigious consortium of universities such as the National University of Singapore, the University of Cape Town, the American University of Beirut, and the City University of New York. This partnership will pave the way for innovative academic programs, leadership training, and impactful community initiatives.
