The 2025 International Workshop on Geography and Sustainability invites session proposals aligned with the theme “Geography and Sustainable Development: From a Transdisciplinary Perspective.”
Geography, as a field that bridges natural and social sciences, is uniquely positioned to address pressing sustainability challenges. By advancing interdisciplinary methodologies, data-driven models, and integrative research, geographers play a crucial role in driving sustainable transformation.
Session Proposal Submissions Now Open
We encourage proposals that explore transdisciplinary approaches to:
- Geographical processes
- Human–environment systems
- Ecosystem services and human wellbeing
- Geo-data and sustainability models
- Sustainable development practices and policies
Submission Guidelines
- Each proposal should include:
- Session title
- Name(s) of convener(s)
- Short description outlining scope, content, objectives, and any specific requirements
