Compass Education Assessment Tool for Schools

The Compass Education School Sustainability Self-Assessment is for sustainability coordinators, school leaders and managers, and anyone interested in promoting school sustainability. With 20 indicators equally divided between the four Compass Points: Nature, Economy, Society, and WellBeing, it is meant to reflect a framework for holistic sustainability. It is a self-assessment tool that is meant to be quick and simple to use.

A sustainable school employs a whole-school approach that is reflected in the curriculum, day-to-day practices, culture, and attitudes.
