EAUC Climate Risk Communications Pack

The Climate Risk Communications Pack is a practical resource developed by the EAUC. It is designed to help universities, colleges, and related institutions effectively communicate climate-related risks, especially in the context of increasing extreme weather events driven by climate change.

The pack provides clear guidance in the form of three workshops to explain what climate risks are, why they are happening, and what actions institutions and individuals can take in response. It is particularly useful for sustainability teams, estates and facilities staff, communications professionals, and leadership teams who need to engage students, staff, and stakeholders on climate adaptation and resilience.

By improving understanding of climate risks and supporting behaviour change, the resource helps institutions reduce vulnerability and strengthen preparedness. It also supports acceleration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action), while contributing to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by embedding climate literacy and informed decision-making across education systems.
