Inaugural Lecture 2026-27 UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development in Africa

The UNESCO Chair in Higher Education for Sustainable Development in Africa at the University of La Manouba is pleased to invite you to the launch of its new programme of activities on Friday, 23 October from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm in the Ben Ferjani lecture theatre at ISCAE (La Manouba University, Tunisia).

The launch of these activities will be marked by the inaugural lecture for the Research Master’s in African Studies, to be delivered by the eminent scholar Hakim Ben Hammouda, who will address the theme of ‘The fragmentation of the global order, geo-economics and new challenges for development in Africa’.
