Industry 4.0 and Digital Entrepreneurship

The Université de Sousse, under the Erasmus+ Master Design Program has developed a Master's program focused on Industry 4.0 and Digital Entrepreneurship (I4DE). The program is delivered in collaboration with the University of Technology Compiègne (FRA), the University of Florence (ITL), and local business partner Novation City: Pôle de Competitivité de Sousse.

The motivation behind the program stems from the skills gap and funding gap that will come with Industry 4.0, the next industrial revolution that accounts for digitalization. Industry 4.0 remains inaccessible for small and medium-size entreprises (SMEs), as start-ups and digital entrepreneurship is not developed enough neither in Europe nor the MENA region. As such, many skilled workers tend to join larger companies capable of embracing Industry 4.0. The goal of this Master Program is to prepare learners with the technical skills and also the entrepreneurial tools to tackle this gap.
