INRS Program for more equity

Supporting its student population during parental leave for more equity

INRS announced the establishment of a program to support its student community and staff who are grant holders when a birth or adoption occurs. INRS is the first university in Quebec to set up a program aimed at financially supporting students during parental leave. This program is part of INRS's institutional desire to offer its students and research staff, as well as its whole community, an equitable, diversified and inclusive living environment. This support will allow students to take parental leave without fear of financial loss and without causing harm to research funding for faculty members, since it will be fully assumed by the university administration.
