PES University Climate Summit 2025
The PES University Climate Summit 2025, held on September 8, 2025, focused on empowering youth as leaders in climate action under the theme “Youth: The Vanguard of a Sustainable Tomorrow.” Organized by the Faculty of Management & Commerce and the Institute of MBA, the event brought together students, industry experts, and sustainability professionals for keynotes and panel discussions on the climate economy, AI for sustainability, and biodiversity.
A central panel, “Beyond Greenwashing: Authentic ESG and Corporate Integrity,” emphasized leadership accountability, transparency, and community engagement in advancing credible ESG practices. Participants agreed that authentic ESG requires purpose-driven, transparent actions and active youth involvement. The summit highlighted students’ energy and innovation as crucial for building resilient, sustainable futures and was recognized as a launchpad for the next generation of green leaders.
