Return Gender Equality Workshop: Gender and Culture

The workshop was organized through a partnership between the Macao Language Exchange and Culture Promotion Association (LECPA), and the USJ Green Committee. Guests worldwide shared experiences about gender issues, including gender roles and stereotypes, in their respective cultures. The purpose was to discuss the link between gender and culture through a global workshop to discuss situations and ways forward in achieving gender equality.

The workshop was held in person at the University of Saint Joseph’s Ilha Verde Campus on April 12, 2024.
