UNO-R Engaged in Sustainability Dialogue
The University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos (UNO-R) participated in the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Western Visayas Roadshow. During the event UNO-R participated in dialogue aimed to strenghten institutional sustainability.
Gathering local and regional leaders from education, government, civil society, and development organizations the event emphasized the role of science and education in accelerating climate action and addressing inequalities and sustainabiliy. Moreover, bringing these actors together highlighted the importance of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and community engagement to promote sustainability. UNO-R's participation in the event reinforced the university's commitment to institutionally integrate sustainability.
