International Conference on 'the Role of Higher Education in Peacebuilding'

The Aurora Karazin University Peace Education Hub will be organizing a five-day International Conference on 'The Role of Higher Education in Peacebuilding' to be hosted at the University of Innsbruck from 17 February to 21 February 2025. 

The conference aims to contribute to future research, theory, and practice on how higher education institutions (HEIs) can be drivers of conflict transformation, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. 

Currently, the Hub has an open Call for Papers on a variety of subjects in the field of peacebuilding until 31 October 2024. 

Registration for the event will open shortly after on 15 November 2024.
