Through EUt+, the partners are committed to creating a sustainable future for students and learners in European countries, for the staff of each of the institutions and for the territories and regions where each campus is anchored.

Sustainability

As a modern University, CUT is committed to the global collective consciousness, aligning with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN). As part of CUT’s commitment to advancing sustainable development, in 2010 the University established a Green Office and adopted an Environmental Policy and in 2017, created a Sustainable Education, Research and Development team to advance the University‘s sustainable development efforts. More recently, in October 2020 the University established a committee to propose improvements to university life and in April 2021, the Rector initiated a Student Social Commitment Award to recognize students who engage in volunteering, societal actions and/or achieving societal impact in relation to the SDGs.
