About

Kardan University, founded in 2002, is Afghanistan’s first private university and a leader in academic and professional education. It has an alumni community of over 30,000 graduates. With around 4,000 students currently enrolled and approximately 85 full-time academic staff, it offers accredited diploma, undergraduate, and graduate programs across five faculties: Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Social Sciences, and Law. The university’s vision—“In the Spirit of Excellence, Aspiring for Knowledge and Growth”—and its mission—to be “a vibrant university, inspiring academic and professional excellence”—are grounded in core values of Knowledge, People, Innovation, Integrity, and Internationalization.
