Leeds Trinity University

Leeds Trinity University was founded as two Catholic teacher training colleges in September 1966; Trinity College for women and All Saints College for men, with an intake of 300 students.

Today the University aspires to be a leading career-led and applied university, with students that will achieve outstanding outcomes. The well-rounded learners and graduates will be sought by employers. They will shape a rapidly changing world. The University aims to have graduates who contribute as active citizens of the region and the wider world.

The University is a diverse and inclusive University welcoming students from all backgrounds and beliefs which exists to provide a transformational educational experience, forming students and learners whose lives will flourish and find wholeness in their work and world.

The University recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements and it is fully committed to reducing its environmental impact through its business activities.

Moreover it is incorporating sound environmental and sustainability management policies and practices, which will include continually improving aspects of both performance and delivery as an integral part of the university’s corporate strategy and operating procedures and regularly reviews its policy and is currently updating it to reflect the challenges of climate change and its commitments in line with local and global sustainability challenges.
