Founded in 1985, University Corporation of Meta (UNIMETA) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large city of Villavicencio (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Meta. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional, Colombia (Ministry of National Education of Colombia), Corporacion Universitaria del Meta (UNIMETA) is a coeducational Colombian higher education institution. Corporacion Universitaria del Meta (UNIMETA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
