How to register your Institution / Organisation and submit information for publication on the IAU HESD portal, and how to update the information published?

IAU Member institutions and organisations can register and showcase their Higher Education and Research for Sustainable Development (HESD) initiatives on the portal by filling out the online form available here. 

Which information needs to be included in update requests?

Kindly make sure to fill out all the required fields in this online form and provide a link for further information (please fill out the form in English, links provided can lead to pages in other languages). In order to address update requests more smoothly, please include the following information:

  • What type of action/event at the university/HEI would you like IAU to share on the HESD Portal? (title, thematic focus, format online/in person, workshop, classes, publication etc.). For new profiles of Instituions or organisations: please include also a website and information specifically on SDG projects (not generally on how many students/courses the university has)

  • Who is/was involved and when did the event/project, .. take place/or is it ongoing? Also make sure to mention for events if they are in-person or online, and if they are open to participants from other institutions.

  • Which SDGs are addressed by the action?

  • Where can anyone interested find more information? (website, flyer etc.)

The data published on the portal includes:

  • HESD News, related to our Members, Partners…
  • Actions and Events related to HESD
  • HESD References and Tools 

Data processing: when and how?

  • The data collected is subject to editing by the IAU HESD team;
  • Pages are created following the portal style sheet and published online;
  • Once the information is added to the portal, the institutions / organisations concerned are notified by email. Changes or updates to the information published may be requested at any time;
